Feudalism

Feudalism at Windsor Castle worked by the King receiving taxes, from Peasants, Lords (barons) and Knights.
Grants of land were given by the King to the Barons, who then gave grants to Knights, who then allowed Peasants to work and live on the land.
The Peasants made food and other goods that were then forced to be handed over to the Knights, as a form of tax, as a right to stay on the land and have protection. The Knights then used this food and other goods to pay Barons for the land they were granted.
The Knights also provided protection to the Barons.
Barons, in turn, provided allegiance to the King by paying taxes.
